PINHOLE CAMERA

"A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens but with a tiny aperture, a pinhole. Light from a scene passes through the aperture and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box, which is known as the camera obscura effect. And, on that side of the box, there is a photographic paper where the inverted image is captured."

The project consists in the construction of a pinhole camera, in my case I have decided to do it alone. It will be used to get three images of acceptable quality.

My pinhole camera is about 12 centimeters per side since it is a square. The material used to make the exterior is wood (plywood). There are two iron visagres to open and close it. The inside is painted with black paint. In order for the photo to fit well in the bottom of the camera, there are four cartoon pen guides.  The pinhole is made of a tinplate painted with black permanent marker and black paint. The phographic paper is placed 11'5 cm from the pinhole, that is 0.452 and the aperture of the ring is 245

PROCESS IN THE LAB

Laboratory exposure time:
3 minutes into photographic developer
30 seconds into an stopping bath
3 minutes into photographic fixer
5 minutes under water

When you have finished this process, the images are put to dry. And what you get in this step are the negatives of the photographs. And then, to have the final result, you can invert the negatives in photoshop
The first picture i took was black. That's because the light was entering from the sides, therefore I had to reinforce all the gaskets with black tape.
